Cemex Philippines, a leading cement manufacturer in the country, has announced the inauguration of its new warehouse located in Barangay Pangao West, Ibaan, Batangas. The facility covers an area of 1,500 square meters and is expected to enhance the company’s capacity to meet the growing demand for dependable and high-quality construction materials.
According to Luis Franco, President, and CEO of CEMEX Philippines, the expansion aligns with the national government’s 2024 initiative, in which more than Php 1 trillion has been allocated for infrastructure development, with nearly half reserved for road and rail projects. With this, the company recognizes the increase in demand and ensures to provide sturdy and reliable cement supplies for current and upcoming development projects, not just in CALABARZON but also to its neighboring regions.
“By investing in this facility, we are aligning with the government’s vision and priorities for infrastructure development,” said Luis Franco.
As part of their continuous commitment to excellence, expanding their operations is a testament to their selfless dedication to serving their clients and helping to drive greener and sustainable infrastructure growth. “Through the various product lines we offer, including our Vertua products with low carbon and high-quality cement, we are determined to continue guiding the construction industry towards a more beautiful and sustainable tomorrow,” added Franco.
CEMEX is also known for advocating sustainability and being actively involved in addressing pressing environmental issues, particularly climate change. Through this strategic investment, they encourage other construction businesses to embrace greener practices and meet ambitious development targets responsibly.” | D.B Rupan
